Unfinished basement was renovated to include family room, exercise area, office, laundry, and half bath. Under the bamboo flooring is a critical underlayment called DMX Plastics Limited DMX 1-Step 2.0. This has a dimpled pattern that creates a space above the concrete floor allowing it to breathe and evaporate any moisture.

Carlisle Basement Apartment

1960s bungalow basement was converted into a cowboy/Mexican pottery themed one bedroom basement apartment with separate entrance. It has a large open concept kitchen/living space, large 3 piece bathroom, large bedroom, and large foyer with closet and office nook. Basement was spray foamed. Engineered lock and click flooring was installed over DMX membrane.
